Job Responsibilities
- As a Qualcomm Software Engineer, you will design, develop, create, modify, and validate embedded and cloud edge software, applications, and/or specialized utility programs that launch cutting-edge, world class products that meet and exceed customer needs.
- Qualcomm Software Engineers collaborate with systems, hardware, architecture, test engineers, and other teams to design system-level software solutions and obtain information on performance requirements and interfaces.
- Close collaboration with domain engineering teams to solve real-world problems using cutting-edge AI technologies.
- As part of the team, you’ll have the opportunity to work on large-scale AI systems that are shaping the future of software engineering within Qualcomm.
Job Requirements
- Strong foundation in Data Structures & Algorithms, Operating Systems, Computer Networks, DBMS, and Object-Oriented Programming.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field from a reputed institution.
- Good understanding of backend systems, software engineering principles, and development best practices.
- Prompt engineering, context engineering, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), AI agents, embeddings, and model orchestration frameworks.
- Demonstrated ability to write clean, efficient, and scalable code with strong problem-solving skills.
