Lead Solution Architect – Data & Analytics
Job Description
As a Lead Solution Architect in a Data & Analytics business of Genpact , you will be responsible for owning all pre-sales activities, proposal development, and offerings build related to data and analytics solutions. You will collaborate with sales teams, clients, and internal stakeholders to understand business requirements and develop customized solutions that address their data and analytics needs. You will play a pivotal role in driving business growth by leveraging your expertise in data architecture, analytics, and cloud technologies.
Responsibilities:
Pre-Sales Activities:
- Engage with potential clients to understand their data and analytics requirements and challenges.
- Conduct in-depth discovery sessions and workshops to gather business and technical requirements.
- Develop and deliver compelling product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the value of our data and analytics solutions.
- Collaborate with sales teams to develop sales strategies and identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
Proposal Development:
- Lead the creation of customized proposals and solutions that align with client requirements and objectives.
- Design innovative data and analytics architectures and frameworks, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
- Define project scope, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts, engineers, and data scientists to gather inputs and incorporate them into proposals.
- Develop pricing models and financial justifications for proposed solutions.
Offerings Development:
- Own the development and enhancement of data and analytics offerings and solutions.
- Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to data and analytics.
- Identify opportunities for new offerings and work with the product management team to define and prioritize them.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to ensure our offerings are differentiated and meet market demands.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product roadmaps and go-to-market strategies.
Skills Required:
Data and Analytics Expertise:
- Strong knowledge and experience in data architecture, data modeling, data integration, and data governance.
- Proficiency in analytics and business intelligence tools, such as Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik.
- Familiarity with data management platforms, data lakes, data warehouses, and data virtualization.
Cloud Technologies:
- In-depth understanding of cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, and their data and analytics services.
- Experience in designing and implementing cloud-based data solutions, leveraging services like AWS Redshift, Azure Synapse Analytics, or Google BigQuery.
Pre-Sales and Proposal Development:
- Proven experience in leading pre-sales activities, including client engagement, requirements gathering, and solution design.
- Strong proposal development skills, including the ability to create compelling and customized proposals.
- Proficiency in developing pricing models and financial justifications for proposed solutions.
Business Acumen:
- Ability to understand clients’ business objectives and translate them into data and analytics solutions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address client challenges effectively.
- Understanding of industry trends, competitive landscape, and market demands related to data and analytics.
Communication and Leadership:
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong leadership skills to drive cross-functional collaboration and influence stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
