Job Responsibilities
- Making key decisions at different stages of the evaluation workflow, in order to ensure quality and integrity
- Communicating with Guest Editorial teams, journal Editorial Board Members and other stakeholders, as required, to facilitate processing and decision making
- Provide guidance, advice, and support to Guest Editorial teams on how to improve their Special Issue proposal
- Identify and resolve potential issues in the development of Special Issues, liaising with Operations teams as required
Job Requirements
- The role holder has a strong work ethic with the ability to handle multiple priorities and respond quickly to changing requirements
- The role holder is an eminently reliable team player who responds well to a varied workload and is excited about playing a pivotal role in serving our Editors and authors
- You’d be educated to a degree level with an interest in science or preferably a scientific degree or education
- The role holder always keeps key objectives and targets in mind when carrying out all plans and activities
